37 Hours in Barcelona
Always intended it to be a short stay in this wonderful city and K nowing I would be back again later in the summer, meant I could step into working remotely without feeling a sense of time sacristy. She took my breath away as she did the last time I visited Barcelona. Cathedrals, narrow streets, warm ocean, bubbling broad walkways, and quiet out of the way restaurants. I known I am not the first to say this is a city I could call home.
Narrow Barcelona streets
A morning run reviled the gorgeous beach and warm water of the medateranian. Cool and refreshing after the run, the ocean as always medicine to my body and spirit.
Around every corner in this city is a place to find Tapas, cafe and wifi. Working through the morning in a bustling reatruant of locals and many tourists I have for perfect distraction in moments of needed inspiration.
For a lunch time break stepping into the cathedral next to the restaurant I wandered through history. Currently living in a town who's age is counted in decades this old city surrounds aged building and spectacular churches.
My work day continued at a little reatruant called Stoke, who's owner Omar quickly became a new friend. Great food and a beer while working in a Spanish city is a must.
My desire with this travel is to be known in a foreign land, which is what happened today. Upon leaving Omar said "when you come back if I am not here call me and we will have a drink". Yes know in a foreign land..
